Recensione Daniele
Radini Tedeschi
“Europa” era una figura
della mitologia greca
εύρύς (eurus), "ampio"
e ōp "occhio",
il cui nome significava letteralmente “ampio sguardo”;

"Europa" was a figure from Greek mythology εύρύς (eurus), "broad" and ōp "eye" whose name literally meant "wide glance"; a broad look led the choice of the works on display, each with a peculiar style and an international range.
The main floor of the prestigious Palazzo Albrizzi Capello,
also home to the Guatemala Pavilion - 16th.
International Architecture Exhibition - Venice Biennale,
hosted, in October 2018, the authoritative art exhibition entitled "Europe
Pavilion", curated by Prof. Gianni Dunil
and Prof. Nevia Capello and welcomed the best Artists
of the European continent, to which the prestigious Career
Award has been assigned.
The exhibition was presented in absolute preview at the
Chamber of Deputies, to whose Presidency a
special thanks was given, also extended to the Presidency
of the European Parliament.
During the conference in Montecitorio, the curator
Gianni Dunil illustrated the works of the Artists through an
in-depth critical description;
the presentation of the works was then
made visible all over the world with live online on the official
website of the Italian Parliament.
The exhibition developed within a cosmopolitan frame, coinciding
with the opening in Venice of the Pavilions of 65 countries
participating in the 16th International Architecture Exhibition -
the Venice Biennale, whose themes also dealt with the one concerning
the world's urban outskirts:
from the USA
to Russia, from China to Brazil.
In this way we have created a wise comparison born in a context of
fertile cultural and creative ferment, especially suited to the
enhancement of talent and excellence.
