Theme: The creator of myths has not extinct.

He is present in our time and still expresses himself through an apodictic, irrefutable, true, absolute, eternal type of thought. Daedalus and Icarus, overestimating the impact of the embryonic science-technology-techniques they experienced, considered Non plus ultra, due to their apodictic thinking, met the catastrophe. The creator of contemporary myths, in managing his own life also making use of apodictic thought, proposes a terrifying question “Faced with the outcome of the progressive science vs technology vs technique, is it proceeding towards the same destiny as the ancient creator of myths?"

My reflection does not focus particularly on the issues debated since the 19th century to date, inherent in the effects of science / technology / technique, or on how well or how badly they have come about. Instead, I reflected on the fact that the majority of humans, especially in the present, welcome the development of science / technology / technique, still using apodictic thinking and not through careful and consistent reflection based on experience and methodological doubt.
My studies, concerning the pre-Greek and Greek world, have allowed me to recall that the Sophists wanted to prove the truth of an affirmation, using only reasoning, without ever having the comfort of a careful, scrupulous and dubious study of the scope of ' Experience, even in very distant times, were the creators of myths to avail themselves of this kind of thought.
This has led me to propose the following reasoning, that even today, human beings live the reality producing exasperate solipsistic behavior, because of which all interest is focused only on the immediate relationship between themselves and the technological-technological object possessed , While any objective reality that does not fall within its sphere of interest is clearly ignored, out of reflection and, consequently, that this manifestation of self-centeredness is supported by the very type of thought already elaborated by the ancient creators of myths.
The first creators of myths, on the one hand, were attentive when they looked carefully at certain natural phenomena - think, for example, of the observations they made when they realized that their females and females of other species were born in the same way - On the other hand, they faced phenomena that, according to them, descended from an invisible world, elaborated - even in the face of strong emotion - of the apodictic answers, which were definitely not dubious. They, without any mediation, came directly to unrealistic conclusions.
Reflecting on the example of bare females, we can hypothesize that the creator of myths, even moving from this rational observation, adopted it, without the least doubt, to explain apodictically the genesis of the Cosmos. In fact, on the basis of this type of thought, he elaborated a myth, which said that from an invisible chaos (in ancient Sanskrit-Greek this word also meant crack, dirt, ...) could have spilled the World wrapped by a ' (Belt, ζώνη [-ης, ἡ], fence, φράκτης, containing neatly all the visible manifestations, in turn, each surrounded by a 'belt', 'skin', such as the womb when wrapped around The fetus or the entire human body, whose body, properly, keeps all organs neatly within it.
He, though starting from "pretcientific" but unquestionable observations, transposed, on an emotional basis, by the production of an apodictic thought, conclusively considered to be truly true, incontrovertible, eternal. When, over time, distant pregrets strengthened their technologies and the resulting techniques, while accentuating their "prescientific" rationality, kept emotionally, as the first creator of myths, the apodictic approach to the world, adopting a conclusion then Systematized in the epistemas elaborated by the classical Greek philosophy and protracted for many centuries. This was so long as, in modern times, Nietzsche proposed the end of Greek epistemic thought, at that time still in force.
Some of these mythical creations make us understand that that humanity fantasized about the possible achievement of unlimited human power, caused by the then-reached technological-technical capability - an example, the handed down myth of Icarus.
It will be remembered that Dedalo, Icarus's father, escaped from a labyrinthic world, in which they lived, with much presumption, but also at the same time showing an apodictic thought, convinced that the technology and technique of his time allowed him to Flying to gain freedom, built the famous wings, held together by a wax dough. It was a failure marked by the death of Icarus. A failure for the one who, having the opportunity to experiment and therefore ask why 'of things, persisted and turned only to the' how 'and propose, in effect, an apodictic ruling.
In the current cultural context, the conviction that science, technology, and technology can give humanity and immortality to prospects, replicates the tendency of bankruptcy, similar to that of the mythical Dedalo and Icaro.
In the painting I have elaborated, which should not be erroneous, generically labeled as informal, relying on the above-mentioned context, I derive from this meaning, while on the part of the signifier, I wanted to extend, in an extreme synthesis, the matter with Strong and resolute movement accompanied by a decisive and screaming 'no!', Testifies to a net rejection of the behavior, to say the least insensitive, held by the present humanity.
